This privacy statement discloses the privacy practices for The Birth Place Services and Retail Inc. (TBP or we) At The Birth Place your privacy is important to us. In the following statement we will outline what personal information we collect from you and why. With whom we may share information and how the information is used. What choices are available to you regarding, collection, use and distribution of the information as well as which practices are in place to safeguard your information.

1. TBP collects two kinds of information.
   a) Personal information for clients using TBP services in order to fulfill clients requirements.. For example, names, addresses and phone numbers so that we may keep clients aware of postnatal reunions etc.
   b) Anonymous information regarding clients experience so that we may provide future clients with helpful information, research issues of importance and improve on ser vices provided to better meet clients needs.
2. # The Birth Place, it’s staff, employees, contractors and facilitators are made aware of this statement and must uphold the practices therein. Confidentiality is paramount and as such any breech of this policy will be dealt normal disciplinary measures.
3. The Birth Place will not disclose any personal information to an outside organization other than that of a nature that will support the client in the needs they have outlined and at their request. I.e. Supplier products that are useful in review of what situation a client may be in. (Which carrier or breast pump may serve a clients needs.)
4. Gift registry information, in store or on line forms require users to give contact information so that we may contact the customer to clarify questions regarding the registry. Customers may also be sent promotional information such at TBP Calendar of Events. Customers may opt–out of receiving information at any time by request.
5. Prenatal Class lists are meant for the sole purpose of information for each class participant. Under no circumstances are lists to be used for business purposes or will these lists be given or sold to any outside organization.
6. In the event this privacy policy changes we will update immediately and make that information available to you.
7. We will continuously assess ourselves to make sure that customer privacy is respected.
8. We will make any individuals or organizations that we work with aware of our privacy policy.
9. We do not keep any credit card information on file other than for breast pump rentals during the time the customer has the breast pump.
10. We acknowledge your consent and agreement to the terms of this Privacy Policy whenever you submit information on-line, in store or over the phone.
11. Our web site or in-store information and classes are not intended for use by children other than sibling classes with a guardian or parent.
12. To keep your personally identifiable information accurate, current, and complete, please contact TBP to update or correct such information.
